Cartoon protests in Holland

Cartoon protests in Holland

This is definitely a hard hitting video. Geert talks about the Islamisation of the Netherlands and towards the end, there are great comments by Pat Robertson about the Dar al-Islam, the house of Islam or house of submission. You are either in the Dar al-Islam or you are in the house of war.

I have had friends visit the Netherlands and they tell me they never see any of these things, but the truth is, this is the same thing you’ll see in Paris. Where tourists typically dwell, you do not see the things behind the curtains. I think of it as an entire country putting on a massive show, keeping their dark secrets hidden away while they fester and grow into cancers that are soon beyond a cure. This is a great video. Wilders is an advocate for Jewish and Christian culture though not being a Christian himself. Some may find that hard to accept, but Wilders is fighting the good fight whether he is or not.

Check out this video of Geert on the Glenn Beck show. It is hard to understand why the Dutch people, the ones who can obviously see what Geert is saying, aren’t offering more support to him. Please check the links on the side of this page, buy a tee shirt and support Geert’s defense, or Click hereto find out how to give your full contribution to his legal defense fund through The Middle East Forum.

“It boggles the mind to imagine it: a lawmaker in a Western country being brought up on what amounts to criminal blasphemy charges.“

That’s Rod Dreher at the Dallas Morning News, blogging about the Dutch government’s decision to prosecute a member of its own Parliament, Geert Wilders, for “hate speech.”

Wilder’s crime was to produce a short movie called “Fitna”, which juxtaposes passages from the Koran with footage of the 9/11 attacks and other atrocities perpetrated by self-described Muslim terrorists.

Wilders is charged with “inciting hatred and discrimination,” even though, as free speech advocate Ezra Levant points out, hatred is a feeling, and feelings shouldn’t (and realistically can’t) be criminalized.

“As his film shows, this largely amounts to quoting the Koran accurately and reporting the statements of Muslim organizations and their supporters, many of which can’t be repeated here.

“Wilders is in fact guilty of nothing but resisting the Islamicization of Europe and the attempt to impose Sharia law on the West. Suppressing all criticism of and debate about Islam is part of that move. Free speech and Sharia law are incompatible.”

yasin

Adding insult to injury, today the Netherlands Justice Minister approved a visit by American Muslim Khalid Yasin, explaining that “everyone in the Netherlands has freedom of speech, provided they respect the rule of law.”

Clearly, however, there is a double standard at work in the Dutch legal system. Like an troublingly large number of African-Americans, Yasin believes that AIDS was created by “white” governments as a biological weapon against blacks. Accusations of “genocide” are serious legal and political business; in fact, they could very likely “incite hatred”…

Yasin’s also been quoted as saying:

“There’s no such thing as a Muslim having a non-Muslim friend. If you prefer the clothing of the kafirs over the clothing of the Muslims, most of those names that’s on most of those clothings is faggots, homosexuals and lesbians…The Koran gives a very clear position regarding homosexuality, lesbianism and bestiality — that these are aberrations, they are immoralities and if they are tried, convicted, they are punishable by death.”

Meanwhile, over in Austria, another politician has been charged with “incitement” and “humiliating a religion” for calling Mohammed “a pedophile.”

Apparently this is okay:

But a citizen standing up for the defense of an entire country, the entire culture even – is not.

geert-wilders-2

I have been working on getting the information out there so that we could really get behind Geert Wilders and his Freedom Party in the Netherlands. The situation is very serious and Mr. Wilders is being accused of hate speech against Muslims. The U.N. secretary general, Ban Ki Moon, even came out against Geert! Has the world gone mad?!?!?

“Mr Wilders’ views constitute a criminal offence. [He] has insulted Islamic worshippers by attacking the symbols of the Islamic faith,” the court stated, referring to his comparison of the Koran to Adolf Hitler’s Mein Kampf.

Excerpt from: Web India

Not only are they trying to rid themselves of Geert, they are attempting to destroy the Freedom Party, the only party not receiving government funds. Once the Freedom Party is out of the way, Geert, even if not thrown in jail, will have no money for his protection. His life is constantly threatened. I am asking everyone to come out and support the party AND Geert’s defense. This will ensure his protection and his ability to continue speaking out about radical Islam and its very real danger to the west.

killgeertgroot

Below is a message I have received from the Middle East Forum. They have been advising Mr. Wilders and have also set up a defense fund for him. Please read below on how to contribute to this fund so that the Freedom Party and Geert’s freedom can continue!

Dear [Flaming Blog]

We are extremely glad to hear that you’re working to gather support for Geert Wilders, indeed for freedom of speech itself. The Legal Project has been working with him for quite some time, and has established a legal defense fund that people may donate to by mailing to the below address – making the check out to the Middle East Forum and specifying that the donations are for Geert Wilders’ court costs. Donations to The Legal Project are processed through the Middle East Forum (a 501(c)3 non-profit organization; contributions are tax deductible.) Tax-ID 23-774-9796, approved April 27, 1998.

The Legal Project
1500 Walnut Street
Suite 1050
Philadelphia, PA 19102

Money sent in this fashion will go directly to help defray Wilders’ court costs – which will most certainly be substantial.

Thank you,
A. Meyer

PLEASE CONSIDER DONATING!

No matter the amount, it will all be helpful!

A message from the Lord on the power of little gifts:
The Widow of Zarephath

8 Then the word of the LORD came to him, 9 “Arise, go to(E) Zarephath, which belongs to Sidon, and dwell there. Behold, I have commanded a widow there to feed you.” 10 So he arose and went to(F) Zarephath. And when he came to the gate of the city, behold, a widow was there(G) gathering sticks. And he called to her and said, “Bring me a little water in a vessel, that I may drink.” 11 And as she was going to bring it, he called to her and said, “Bring me a morsel of bread in your hand.” 12 And she said,(H) “As the LORD your God lives, I have nothing baked, only a handful of flour in a jar and a little oil in a jug. And now I am gathering a couple of sticks that I may go in and prepare it for myself and my son, that we may eat it and die.” 13 And Elijah said to her, “Do not fear; go and do as you have said. But first make me a little cake of it and bring it to me, and afterward make something for yourself and your son. 14 For thus says the LORD, the God of Israel, ‘The jar of flour shall not be spent, and the jug of oil shall not be empty, until the day that the LORD sends rain upon the earth.'” 15 And she went and did as Elijah said. And she and he and her household ate for many days. 16 The jar of flour was not spent, neither did the jug of oil become empty, according to the word of the LORD that he spoke by Elijah.

Thank you for your support of this brave man!

Watch Geert on Fox News

After hearing about our fellow western brother, Geert Wilders, being prosecuted in Holland because of his fierce defense of western culture against radical Islam, I’ve decided to come out of the shadows. I often have not had time to update this site, but I think there is serious work to be done! Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to read the information here. Please visit Geert’s Dutch Freedom Party Site. He needs all of the financial and political support he can get. Let’s see what we can do to get this amazingly brave man off the hook.

Geert has spent is his time avoiding the fatwas placed on his head by Muslims from all over. When he produced Fitna he further inflamed the Muslim world where it is death to speak freely about that religion. Watch Fitna and Submission, the film that Dutch filmmaker, Theo Van Gogh, was murdered for. I will try to post some interviews from Van Gogh soon. One thing he said was that he believed he wouldn’t be murdered because he was too arrogant to believe it could happen to him. We cannot make this mistake. It can happen.

The new President, Barack Hussien Obama, is closing Gitmo and Foreign prisons. This has major implications. If someone like Khalid Sheik Mohammad came to a U.S. jail and someone forgot to read him his Miranda Rights, he could WALK. In our country he could be free as a bird to plan more attacks on U.S. citizens. Things are changing and we need to do more then send out the word. We need to organize. Phone flame our congressmen. We shouldn’t let them rest until they start defending the people!

How to contact your local congressman or woman:

Get in contact with a representative! and let them know you are outraged over President Obama’s actions!

Enter your zip code to find your congressman

Contact your senator!

The changes that are coming, are probably going to be changes that make this country a bit less recognizable. Let’s lead the charge! Support our brave European friends like Geert. Stand up against our own government’s incompetence!

There is a lot going on in the world and from someone who’s invested countless hours in games like Risk, Shogun, Warcraft, and Civilization – it all bodes pretty disturbing. Why?

1. China is hosting the Olympics right now. It is a time for national pride and proving to the world that China is a strong power and good at what it does (despite whatever truth may be). Whatever they are, they are also very busy. It would not suit China to get involved with a conflict now. Strategically, this was the best time to start a conflict that China would openly oppose.

2. Russia’s constant advance into Georgia despite a ceasefire seems to represent two things. The first cannot be denied, Georgia is an ally of the U.S. but it is also a very strategic location. Less than 1000k from Tehran, this location is the perfect place for the Russian army to sit ready for any sort of U.S. action against Iran. Not only that, Georgia, though a tough people it seems, provide no major threat to the Russian army who possesses superior might, weapons, and determination. It is the perfect training grounds to prepare a very unseasoned Russian army. They are involved in a siege of nearly half of the area right now. If that doesn’t represent the ultimate readiness for future tougher operations, I don’t know what else would.

3. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, Iran went along collecting up all of the Soviet scientists they could before they could somehow absorb into Russian society and live to cause the U.S. problems another day as the Russian Federation’s best and brightest. This means that it is likely that even if Iran does not possess nuclear technology currently, they could have any number of complex chemical weapons. Recently the Iranians have tested long range missiles, what they have claimed can reach Israel. They have also said that if the U.S. attacked they would harm U.S. interests in the area as well as close the strait of Hormuz – theoretically sending oil upwards of 500 dollars a barrel and essentially crashing the U.S. economy. (Hope you’ve all got bikes. Their prices are about to skyrocket if that happens – picture Cambodia)

4. Most disconcerting of all: The U.S. has sent a major arsenal of battleships, aircraft carriers, and destroyers to this area – that is where they are headed (why is U.S. media blocking this out?). Not only that, but British and French forces are joining them en masse. This blockade of Iranian resources (nearly a starvation tactic) that is being planned will be considered an international act of war. Questions arise: Will Russian, now in a strategic location for their in-air refueling planes, wish to instantly become involved in this conflict against the U.S.?

Lining up the tiles – it looks like this: U.S., Britain, France on one side and Iran, Russia, and China on another. While I am sure U.S. interests in the area will be of assistance, I am sure their desire to just get out of this with their country and economies still intact.

5. Israel has said that it would consider a preemptive strike on Tehran if it set them back 10 years on their nuclear ambitions.

I can really see this playing out badly for our side. I hope the masters of this plan have thought things through. If we find ourselves in this kind of war – I don’t think we are prepared to fight it. If all of those countries are involved, the battle may not stay in the middle east. I’m scared. I want my mom!

Seriously though, this is the day you should be searching for every piece of news on this you can get your hands on. I don’t mean to simplify this into some sort of game, but really, we need to start weighing the pros and cons of everyone’s actions. How does it help Russia, China, or Iran if they make a move to start a war? How does it help the U.S., Britain, or France to make the move? Britain may be a fair ally but I don’t think there is anyone on the planet for us that truly has their heart in a World War.

A few quotes that should send you running to the nearest prayer group:

The small oil-rich emirate of Kuwait – situated between Iraq, Iran and an un-enviable geographic hard place on the northern end of the Persian Gulf – has reportedly activated its “Emergency War Plan” as a massive U.S. and European armada is reported heading for the region.

The Forgotten Jungle

It is interesting to imagine that we might be looking at a return to the jungle on planet earth. When man has beaten back the brush and kept his lands clear, the jungle stays at bay, always looming, but never disappearing, waiting for that critical mistake . . . waiting for man to forget about the jungle and its tangled, dangerous ways.

Perhaps that is the place where we exist today. There are some that remember the jungle, we think on it and understand that in order to keep the lives we have now, we must never forget that the jungle is just outside, nor should we forget what it took to clear it away in the first place.

When I look at pictures like the one above, it makes me wonder how do these people clear away the jungle and come into a new existence, a new thought. It is hard to imagine for one simple reason. Here in America, we can forget the jungle because it has been so many years since we were there. Even in World War II, we sought to fight off the jungle in other places and only very minutely did we experience it for ourselves. It was nothing like that singular experience though. It brought us running back to the laws of the jungle. At that point, many Americans knew that the jungle couldn’t be wished away, that if we were to continue life as we knew it, the jungle must be hacked or burned back.

Reclaiming the World

Walking along the borders of human cities is not enough to keep the fierce predator away. It longs to expand. It is a force that can be tamed, yet, it requires taming.

Here in America, as we sit and watch the jungle, reclaiming the rest of the world, we find it hard to do anything about it. It is far away and it is long since we’ve truly experienced the jungle. 9/11 was not a wake-up call. We saw ourselves as perpetual victims. Why would anyone do this to us? Yet, we did not think for a moment that it was because we had let ourselves forget.

America has had a unique advantage when it comes to the jungle, our beautiful mountains, sweeping plains, bustling cities, and comfortable towns have been separated from the jungle on both sides. Our nearest neighbor to the north, forgot the jungle long before we did because as long as America would fight the jungle, they needn’t. Our neighbor to the south has grown fat suckling at America’s progress, lacking the moral ability to use that progress in aid of its people. Their world view and life experiences are not so much prepared to fight the jungle as to let the inevitable happen and try to take advantage of it. Is America alone?

That question discounts the fact that many British, Canadian, and Australian forces have aided us in our fight against terrorism. I don’t think terrorism can truly be fought, however, because we have forgotten the jungle. How a Hindu man, like the men in the above picture, can go to work as a lawyer, a banker, a doctor, a teacher, one day, and in the same day burn buildings, throw Molotov cocktails and even cause the death of their own country’s citizens — we just cannot comprehend. That is something for dissidents, rogues, criminals. That is not for the ordinary citizen. To America’s understanding, the Iraq war was beating back the brush. It was lighting a fire and pushing back the jungle, but it was not enough. We didn’t start a fire. We lit a spark in a wet lush jungle, full of life, growth, and power. Instead of truly beating back the jungle, we only made a dent in it creating even more potential for growth.

Pax Carrhae, Pax Mundus

What does all of this mean? It means that it is either too late for America like it is for Europe, or it means if we understand and remember that there is a jungle out there, perhaps we can save the world. No other secular government can. While President Bush did take up the banner and attempt to fight the jungle with a force to make it crumble, he, his advisors, and just about everyone else forgot what it took to turn Germany and Japan around. We still have the opportunity. Unfortunately, I see places like India that have had chances to leave the jungle, but the moment a great struggle happens, they return to it. That is the tough part. In John McCain’s very misquoted and misused statements, America would be in Iraq for possibly 100 years. This is not stupid. This is necessary. America in Iraq for 100 years means that they get 100 years of distance from the jungle. Then that society can really change. It seems like it would take more than 100 years. The people who remember and accept the jungle must die out so that those who understand the jungle, abhor it, and would stand against it, can grow stronger. This is the position America needs to be in – People who understand, abhor, and stand against the jungle. Below I’m posting a video link as a reward, if you’ve made it this far.

Here, is a little excerpt from the video which I feel is well worth watching. This guy seems to agree with me. We need a strong military and a strong nation building force in its wake.

Click here to watch the video on MemriTV if the Youtube video does not show up.

Following are excerpts from an interview with Iraqi MP Mithal Al-Alousi, which aired on Al-Salam TV on July 17, 2008:

Mithal Al-Alousi: Some people want to keep Iraq weak. They do not want Iraq to have powerful friends. They do not want Iraq to have room to operate on the international level. They do not want Iraq to receive economic support, or to be able to operate through international banks. They don’t want Iraq to be able to send its sons to international universities – that new generation that will return with knowledge, and bring prosperity to our society. They do not want this for Iraq. Kuwait wants the great Iraq to have the same power as “beautiful” Kuwait – I don’t want to call it a “beggar” country today… They want the Iraqi army to be less powerful than a military brigade, so they can always overcome it. Iran does not want Iraq to have any [regional] standing. It says that the Arab Gulf is Persian. Even in sports – if the term “pan-Arab games” is used, Iran objects and withdraws from the games. Iran has clear national expansionist ambitions. Iran’s expansion can only be at the expense of Iraq. Iraq must fade away so they can control it.

Our neighbor Turkey – that Muslim neighbor, which is now ruled by an Islamic party and not by the army – cuts off the water supply to the Iraqis, knowing this spells drought for the fields, and harms the Iraqi citizens and their economy. The king of Saudi Arabia is the Guardian of the Two Holy Places, in Mecca and Al-Madina, but this does not prevent some [Saudis] from sponsoring terrorists, killers, and criminals. The Syrian regime, which heralds pan-Arabism, does not dare to fire a single bullet in the Golan Heights, or even mention the word “Golan,” yet it has the audacity to kill Iraqis.

I am hopefully going to be posting an in depth look at the differences and links between the various Islamic terror and political (also known as terror) groups soon. So if you’ve ever wondered what’s the difference between Hamas, the Mujahideen, and Hizbollah, I hope you’ll check back soon. I also hope to cover the details of their actions and interests. Some groups want Israel gone, some groups have more global exploits. Until then, I hope you’ll keep up with the recent attacks in India. The Indian Mujahideen has claimed responsibility. Go figure!

Click on the pictures below to link to some news stories:

It’s been a rough week for the people of India. 45 people have been killed and more injured. The Mujahideen has claimed responsibility and it’s almost certainly over the polling a few days ago. Indians went to the poll to confirm their interest in Nuclear ties with the United States. . . smart people. However, they are paying for that vote now. These attacks came almost instantly after the votes. References have been made to other issues that the group would be frustrated over, but it is clear the message they are sending. This time it was too much. This is the real problem. For instance, Hamas touted itself as a political group. Well, political groups change things politically. Unfortunately, this only works for them if they are having their way. “If you guys give us what we want, we’ll play by the rules, but the minute you vote against our agenda or make agreements with the west, we’ll kill you.” All of these groups need to make it plain to the rest of the world, whether they are a terrorist group or a political group, it’s already clear to me but there is a lot of retardation going on in the rest of the world. We need to pray for India. I don’t know that they have the ability to fight this problem seriously. The other interesting thing is that they will almost assuredly be in more conflict with Pakistan over this. We just have to wait and see.

Heads in the sand . . .

I am sitting here wondering if there is a breaking point for Americans, for Europe, for the west in general. What would it take for the west to be concerned. Perhaps we have short term memory loss and we can’t hold major events in our minds from moment to moment.

Perhaps, like so many college aged youths learning about America from socialist or communist professors, the west has stopped realizing what freedom is. What would it take for us to be concerned about the climate of international affairs? I don’t think that question has an answer but I want to start asking every person I meet, what would it take for them to become concerned. At what point would they pick their heads up out of the sand and pay attention to something other than their own internal turmoil of self-hatred?

Somedays it’s so confusing. Here is what really should make your head stick up out of the ground.

1.2

That number is the number that should be haunting Europe right now. It is the number that should send Europeans to their therapists. The number that you can’t handle. 1.2 should be very scary to Europeans. That is the number of children per couple that anglo-Italians are having. 1.3 for the Greeks. 1.1 for Spain and that’s not all. Fertility rates of Europeans all over has dropped and some of them, like these numbers I’ve just listed, have reached what has been called the point of no return.

How is this related to radical Islam?

Consider this. The vast majority of people practicing Islam in Europe have not been assimilated into their host country’s culture. They have not become Italians, Greeks, Norwegians, French, or Spanish. They have not learned the language in most cases. They have not adopted an ability to work within the educational system. The ones who choose to send their children to school have all but separated them by requiring separate classes from the “infidels”, refusing to participate in state supported activities such as swimming and track. Assimilation has not been even an afterthought. Not only that, but their ideology is spreading amongst European youths (you know those kind we have over here sportin’ the Che Guevara shirts). NOT ONLY THAT, but their anti-semitism is sparking anti-semitism in these people as well. In countries like Norway, this anti-semitism has sparked previously forgotten white supremacy! If you don’t know your history . . . that’s what they say. You’re doomed to repeat it.

So you have a recipe for disaster:

1.2 + Increased unassimilated Muslim influx + conscientious ignorance of the native western populations = (adpated from the popular radical imam and Islamic president cry) Death to the West!

Why does the lack of assimilation even matter?

When we consider who will be replacing these Europeans that are all but dying out . . . we find America nearly alone in the category of democracy. Perhaps this doesn’t truly matter. We build a strong defense and just let the world be. This is the idea of some. I think others want to go blindly fishing for “nice answers” from our foes in an attempt to bring world peace. Personally, I believe world peace is going to happen at some point. The mistake is thinking that it is happening today. We also need to realize what peace means. Ronald Reagan said that peace was not achieved by two powers coming into agreement but by a stronger power subduing a weaker one. If you can find this isn’t true in history, please let me know.

Every concession was based on the fact that one power saw that it was not going to overcome the other. Perhaps they gave in realizing that in peace, it could rebuild and eventually regain. Yet, all strategic thinking on the part of the west about survival is literally non-existent when it comes to our enemies. Our only concern is about global warming. Another western mentality we’re combating is the thought that having children is for our own self-pleasure. Children bring pleasure! Wonderful joy and spice to life! BUT, children are the future. If we don’t have them, we don’t have a future. There are those on the left telling us to not have children. A woman who had 18 children is criticized when, considering the fact that Osama Bin Laden was 27 out of 56 of his father’s children, this woman should have been praised. Now, I know some people are thinking I’m a primitive crazy! That is so funny. We’ve gotten so enlightened that we’ve forgotten how to survive in the real world. We need some new planet to live in Nirvana because the current one is a lot less accommodating to our flower-child ways. One could argue that the destruction of the family unit is another reason we are failing humanity in this area.

Fly a White Flag for the Gipper!

The U.S. has the strongest military in the world. We seem to be confident that it will always be the case. Perhaps we’ll see. It hasn’t taken billions of dollars in funding for radical Muslims to hit America, Europe, and the Middle East where it hurts. However, we sure have lost the realization that high oil prices are pushing the world cashflow into the hands of those who have the desire to arm themselves to fight the infidel. 1.2 and we’re back to the Middle Ages. 1.2 and an ideology shored up in caves becomes a world ideology. 1.2 and we are looking at the last stronghold. We will not be equipped to deal with the consequences of our conscientious ignorance. I find it amazing, the men that sign up for the Military despite all of their social and ethical training that tells them that every strong muscle in their body should be used to hoist high the picket signs on the door steps of the oil companies as opposed to doing what the American Military does and has always done, protect American citizens and even the citizens of the world. If we strangle our fighting men and women now, their spirit and strength might become the dinosaurs of the next era and the world will look a lot more miserable for it.

Consider this: If peace is achieved through one power subduing the weaker power, perhaps peace on earth is not exactly in our best interest . . . especially the way much of our government is promoting it. If we aren’t the superior power, well be the subdued power. [I am sure I’ll be misquoted on that.]

I don’t even have to say anything.  Watch this bit for yourself.  What I will say is that we need to be clear on the fact that there is a lot of “See no evil, hear no evil” (but oddly enough a lot of speaking evil) in the media today.  The NYTimes, a paper that supported Algier Hiss even after the undeniable mountain of evidence was presented that he was a soviet spy, has rejected John McCain’s Opt-ed piece.  Don’t think I’m upset about John McCain’s trials with the NYTimes.  It is just representative of how the left wing media is writing history.

The Pin-pricks of Progression

We are facing dire times these days.  All the signs are there for anyone to read, and no one seems to be paying attention.  Headlines have a sort of foreboding.  I read that Iran is spreading “missionaries” around the globe to convert people (Africa, Europe, Saudi Arabia, Syria . . . ).  I see that a radical Imam is sponsoring an ad campaign on NY subways in an attempt to convert people to Islam.  Yet, when one puts forward the case that Islam is going for world domination, people say, Islam will never unite.

The EU has united much of Europe and now Nicholas Sarkozy, president of France has created a Mediterranean Union.  While these things do not present a United Federation of Planets style government off the bat, they do spell ugly for the future.

Consider this, as these countries get more and more tied in politically falling under one shroud so to speak, isn’t it logical to think that this makes taking over or influencing these governments all the more easy?  Consider this, radical Muslims have taken the long term approach.  Muslim youth have been sighted, walking around the streets of western Europe wearing shirts that say “2030, that’s when we take over.”  If you watched the video above (which I highly recommend), you see that this Islamic leader does not say that this goal of global domination will occur soon.  He says it will not come in our time.  They have long term planning and we can’t even fathom that there is a real threat so we don’t plan.  I’ll also point you to notice that he is not saying that America must pay for what she has done to Islam, he is saying that the reason for Jihad is to spread Islam, to make all bow down and say that Allah is the only God.  I could show this to 100 Liberals and maybe get .5 inquiries to find out further.  Sorry, it’s the truth.  Half the time Conservatives don’t want to be bothered with the messy details either.

Europe has been increasingly falling under the seduction of Islam.  A lack of cultural integration and the all together blinding of the British, French, Norwegian, Dutch, and Spanish populations has caused a lot of problems we don’t even hear about in the U.S. Media.  If you haven’t watched Fitna, scroll down the page and watch it.  It is unsettling.  Shouldn’t we be thinking critically about this.  As one book advised, “Trust in God but lock your car door.”  Sure we’ll offer an olive branch of peace, but just know that there’s an M-16 behind it if you choose to make any sudden moves.  Perhaps this is a catch-22.  Some people say that if we take that sort of approach, people don’t trust us.  It’s sort of like inviting your guest to tea and hiding all the silverware.  Then on the other hand, if your guest has stolen the silverware or blown up the refrigerator, I think you’d better take a more active stance.

In the U.S., we don’t even want to plan for it.  I wonder if Obama is the next president.  Perhaps Nouri Al-Maliki sealed it for him two days ago when he agreed with Obama’s phased withdrawal (Funny how bringing the troops home on day one beat Hillary Clinton’s phased withdrawal plan).  It sure is shaping up to look like it.  Four more months . . . less than that actually.  Three more.  And we’ll see.  Even editorials posted on the Middle Eastern Times have said that Iran is holding off major actions because it might send America to the polls to elect another Republican, specifically the Republican that will hit them where it hurts.  If this is true, what can we expect, day one, of an Obama presidency.  I am the first person to hate to be down on the guy, but his policies look like curtains for America.  This is not as far fetched as it seems.

In Holland, a country that prided itself on personal freedoms, same-sex couples have reported fear at being seen holding hands.  Women who’ve been raped by Muslim males were told by their aggressors that it was their fault for wearing such clothing.  Those same women are told by the police, “Go home.” Britain has allowed over 70,000 court cases to be tried under Shari’a law.  In a sovereign nation of laws, they have allowed someone else to come in and make the law.  Last year, Iran hung three men accused of homosexuality.  France has had an increase in violent anti-semitism and hotspots in the poor areas of Paris popping up as little Shari’a strongholds.  Perhaps that is why they elected conservative President Sarkozy.

Perhaps this is all nothing, but somehow it doesn’t seem like nothing.  The minute we leave Iraq, the real trouble beings.  If I’m wrong, that is fine with me.  I’d rather be wrong on this one.

Finding it’s way into America is not hard.  All it takes to turn new converts into terrorists against their own country is a reason.  Young people today are already so befuddled.  Look at Virginia Tech.  This boy didn’t even have a good reason.  What if he had?  What if he had planning, training, and indoctrination.  There are many people running around that could be seduced by this and the latest news coming from European intelligence is that terrorist groups are seeking to recruit U.S. and British nationals because they have no problems traveling back into the United States.  That’s the word for today.

I like to keep in mind the story of the man who releases the tiger from his cage and then the tiger attacks him saying, “It’s in my nature.” I think of this when I think of the Saudis. They are what Carrie Bradshaw might call frenemies. While they love us for our money, I am pretty sure they hate everything we stand for as well. This should have been obvious to everyone when it was revealed that most (if not all) of the terrorists in the 9/11 attacks were Saudis. And Bin Laden himself is one of the Saudi’s estranged sons (but why is he estranged – it is obvious the Saudis don’t want to appear to be making waves). With the elections coming up, I am hoping that the next president will keep this in mind. Saudi Arabia is a country moved by money but seduced by a closed religion that you may not challenge. Scholars have challenged and even helped shape the way we view Christianity these days. It is a right of the everyday Christian to read the Bible and see what it means to the individual.

Saudi cleric Muhammad Al-Munajid says that this should not be the way Muslims think about Islam. “They say: “We reinterpret the texts.” There is a very dangerous conspiracy against the religion of Islam in newspapers and in what these people say.”(Muhammad Al-Munajid, March 2008

So the implication here is that if you want to believe Islam is a religon of peace and that Jihad is meant in the personal internal way, you may not be able to even have that idea. Though the Koran is very specific about what Jihad means, a person wishing to find his or her own way, may not.

The problem is that they want to open a debate on whether Islam is true or not, and on whether Judaism and Christianity are false or not. In other words, they want to open up everything for debate. Now they want to open up all issues for debate. That’s it. It begins with freedom of thought, it continues with freedom of speech, and it ends up with freedom of belief. So where’s the conspiracy? They say: Let’s have freedom of thought in Islam. Well, what do they want? They say: I think, therefore I want to express my thoughts. I want to express myself, I want to talk and say, for example, that there are loopholes in Islam, or that Christianity is the truth. Then they will talk about freedom of belief, and say that anyone is entitled to believe in whatever he wants… If you want to become an apostate – go ahead. Fancy Buddhism? Leave Islam, and join Buddhism. No problem. That’s what freedom of belief is all about. They want freedom of everything. What they want is very dangerous.

Freedom of thought and choice is a definite danger to such an oppressive religion. If you have a choice between eating nails and eating a whopper with cheese, I definitely think you’re going to make a better choice than nails. These men who argue against free speech (and believe me, they are represented in the west as well) are the cunning ones. They know that Islam cannot be challenged. They know it is a religion of misery that keeps people imprisoned. They have admitted that Islam is not the better choice because they refuse to offer a choice.

Later on in this video, Al-Munajid says that people do have the ability to question whether a punishment is too harsh, say, cutting off one’s hands for stealing. But he doesn’t seem to say they have the right to actually do something about it. And with the consequences and taboos placed on free speech, who would ever speak up anyway.

As a member of the human race, we have to be sad and angry that other parts of us, intended to be Christ’s children, are being seduced and dominated in a way that God never intended. Christ wants you to have a choice, and once you do, once you hear how much freedom there is on the otherside, the choice will be clear. No one is putting a gun to your head and forcing you to believe.

If you’d like to listen to another anti-western video from Al-Munajid, click here. This one is a trip. He goes on a rant about how unclean westerners are. I so feel like I’ve blogged this before (Is that a Dejablog?). It is easy to get Dejablog when quoting anti-western clerics.

History and Culture for the Discerning American

Spotlighting some of the holes in pop culture thought is one of the most important goals of this blog.  Fighting extremism, terror, and otherwise retarded ideologies can only be achieved if Americans are re-educated in the facts.  There are facts and they do not support what Americans are increasingly thinking.  This is an uphill battle at best.  At worst it is attempting to unbrainwash those who have been sucked into a high-powered cynicism vacuum.   While Europe Slept does a great job of doing away with some of those misconceptions that many in our nation’s leadership affirm as fact.  Just one of those misconceptions is the Europe rocks, America sucks! thought.

Bruce Bawer says we need to turn that idea around.  Much of the pop culture in Europe is distinctly American.  The idea that Americans only typically speak English has been something of a resume (how do you type on accent on XP!?!?!?) stain. The western European countries sit in a huddle, each resembling something that the typical American would call a state. It is as if New England was divided into diverse cultural centers, each with it’s own language (and speaking “central Jersey” is nearly speaking a different language). But making this whole language ‘thing’ an issue for Americans is like telling Warren Buffet he is not qualified for a job at McDonald’s. European culture is wonderful (according to most Ameripeans and the Travel and Food channel), but they can thank America for that. In fact they can thank America that they aren’t all speaking German or Russian for that matter.

Yes, many Europeans were book lovers–but which foreign country’s literature engaged them most? America’s. They revered education–but to which country’s universities would they most like to send their children if they had the means? Answer: the same country that performs the majority of the world’s scientific research, wins most of the Nobel Prizes, and has twice as many university graduates as Europe. Yes, mor Europeans were multilingual, but so what? If each of the fifty states had it’s own language, Americans would be multilingual too. And yes, America was responsible for plenty of mediocre popular culture; but Europeans, I was beginning to learn, consumed this stuff every bit as eagerly as Americans did–only to turn around and mock it as “typically American.” –Bruce Bawer from While Europe Slept

When Muslims disagree with a film . . .

At least a new Anti-Christian film by Muslims will be better in line with our free speech values than things like, shooting people that make them angry.

So, needless to say we can’t count on the United Nations to defend ideas that we hold dear, such as free speech and um . . . any other good ideas that Americans came up with so I just love it when people like Nancy Pelosi say that we need to be more in tune with the United Nations.

We already know that upon even hearing about Geert Wilder’s film Fitna there were riots.  We don’t even need to mention the violent cartoon riots.  And we also know the United Nation’s stance on those particular efforts in self-expression and support of liberty and free speech.  The United Nations has insited that sites like Google and Youtube remove the movie Fitna.  I am wondering if they will show any support for Christians when an Iranian backed film, Beyond Fitna, comes out.  The film will focus on what Iran’s FARS news agency says is:

. . .orders given to worldwide Christians in the (distorted) version of the Bible for stoking violence, committing genocide, attacking others, beheading and burning women and children who have been taken into captivity.

I know, I know, you may be thinking that this film is a terrible insult to Christians, but calm down.  Before we even see this movie, I can guarantee you one very obvious difference between it and movies like Fitna.  Christians who kill and maim in the name of their religon are going against Christ’s teachings.  Muslims who murder, behead Christians and Jews, beat their wives, and commit acts of terror are doing exactly what their religon and holy book tell them to do.

Americans stand up and be proud!

There is a reason why Islam means ‘submission’

Increasingly, American culture has become self-hating. Young people hate everything we stand for (freedom, democracy, free-markets) and value ideas that have long since failed (communism, socialism, anarchy). We see teenagers with no actual basis for their support of people like Che Guevara except that his face looks great on a tee shirt. They walk around not knowing that he was responsible for the deaths of thousands of innocent people. These people weren’t killed in some skirmish as innocent bystanders, they were taken from their homes, their jobs, their loved ones, and murdered. Members of the free press were in particular danger during Guevara’s time. A state controlled media would be the only kind acceptable.
